DAVID KOSOY
Executive Chairman & Founder
With more than five decades of experience in real estate investment, development, and private lending, David Kosoy is the Executive Chairman and Founder of Sterling Global Financial. His leadership has guided Sterling’s growth into a diversified financial services firm with operations spanning real estate, banking, and investment management.

Before establishing Sterling Global Financial, David co-led Sterling Centrecorp Inc., a publicly traded real estate company, as Co-CEO and Co-Chairman from 2000 to 2007. From 1991 to 2000, he built and managed the Sterling Companies in Palm Beach, Florida, and earlier served as Principal of Brother Developments, where he began his career in property development and investment.

David also chairs M.Advisory Worldwide, a firm offering fiduciary, legal, and investment advisory services across multiple jurisdictions, including The Bahamas, in partnership with the Sterling Group. In addition, he sits on the Board of Ashton Woods U.S.A., one of the nation’s largest privately held homebuilders.

A graduate of the University of Akron in Ohio, David attended on a full football scholarship. In recognition of his achievements, he was honored in 2024 with the Mike Krino Varsity “A” Achievement Award and inducted into Akron’s Varsity “A” Hall of Fame. A talented athlete, he was also a provincial all-star and member of the 1969–70 York University men’s hockey team, later inducted into the York University Hall of Fame.

David earned his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and began his career practicing law in Toronto, Canada. Beyond his professional endeavors, he remains deeply involved in philanthropy, advising and supporting charitable organizations and community initiatives through his leadership and experience.
